Lacey Torrey Claunch, 37, of Palatka, passed from this life unexpectedly on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Baptist South Medical Center in Jacksonville from natural causes.
A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Lacey was a 2003 graduate of Interlachen High School where she played on the volleyball and softball teams. She had worked 12 years as a teller with the First Coast Community Credit Union and for the past 3 years had been a cashier with Winn Dixie. Lacey was a member of the Grace Fellowship in Palatka. She was an avid Florida Gator and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. Her daughter Faith was the love of her life.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Angelina Torrey, and maternal grandparents, Harold Dale Greene and Shirley Waters Greene.
Lacey is survived by her husband of 5 years, Robby Claunch of Palatka, her daughter, Faith Ann Claunch of Palatka, mother, Sandra Greene Torrey, father, Jack Torrey, Jr., a sister, Leslie Torrey Lewis (Richie) of Palatka, a cousin, Diana Rene Greene of Palatka, her mother-in-law, Lynda Woods of Beverly Hills, FL, grandfather-in-law, Leonard Strong of Palatka and a sister-in-law, Alysha Stegmiller (Matthew) of West Palm Beach.
