Mrs. Sue Syfrett, 82, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Sue was born February 1, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Macon McNeal and the late Polly Jordan McNeal. Mrs. Sue graduated from Priceville High School, in Decatur AL, and Mrs. Sue earned an AA degree from the University of AL, (Roll Tide, just for you Mrs. Sue!!!).
Mrs. Sue was working at a company in Tampa Florida that relocated her to right here in Orangeburg! Two years later she met Mr. George, “the love of her earthly life”! They were married at Northgate Baptist church by Pastor Burt Williams, and they have been happily married for over 32 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, daughters, Cynthia Madison, Lisa Syfrett, Donna Russell and granddaughter Brentice Carter.

Survivors include her husband, George Syfrett; sons, George “Marion” Syfrett, Joey Syfrett; daughter, Wanda Gammel, thirteen grandchildren; Jessica, Jacqueline, Bryna, Martin, Kevin, Fred, Emily, Devin, Preston, Tatum, Hannah, Annslie, Elijah, eleven great-grandchildren; Sidney, Taylor, Adrienne, Lauren, Abbey, Parker, Presley, Adam, Clark, Charlotte, Nora, and one great-great grandchild; Xavier.
