L. Sue Jorganson, 64, of Galesburg, completed her earthly journey to begin her heavenly journey at 11:56 a.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family and her best friend and biggest supporter, Beth Lee of Abingdon.
Sue was born January 15, 1951 in Moberly, Missouri, the daughter of Lelon Edward Glydewell and Joyce Bernice Stoneking. She is survived by her mother, Joyce of Arenzville, IL; two sons, Michael Wayne (Jennifer) Milan of Seattle, WA and Ryan Lee Milan of Galesburg; two sisters, Anita Louise Glydewell and Patricia (Michael) Stinson both of Arenzville, IL; and four grandchildren, Brett, Shay and Rory Milan and RyLee John Milan. She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Sue worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 30 years, and held positions in social services as a medical director, medical records clerk, and wound nurse, retiring in 2015 from Marigold Health Care and Rehab as the Marketing Specialist. She especially loved working in the Alzheimer’s Unit. Sue was a member of She was a long time member of the Elks Club #894, serving in the capacities of secretary, club manager, vice president and state chairman. She attended Grace Anglican Church in Galesburg. Sue was loved by many in the community both professionally and personally. Her smile and personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
