Irene Chapman, 92, died Tuesday at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN. She was born near Vernon, Indiana, in Jennings County but had resided in Anderson for more than 80 years. She was a homemaker and had worked for several years as a Practical Nurse. She was a member of the Fall Creek Christian Church in Pendleton, had served as president of La Societe De Femme in Anderson, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Anderson and the Order of Eastern Star in Franklin. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, and her Parents, Gerald Mousa and Ruth Stanley.
She is survived by her two sons, Stephen of Anderson, IN, and, David (Nancy) of Ft. Worth, TX, sister, Mary Smith of Pendleton, IN, 5 grandchildren, Gina (Donald) Veazey of Manassas, VA, Andrea Chapman, Angela Barnett, Trent (Teresa) Chapman all of Fishers, and Jessica Chapman (Emanuel Dimiccoli) of Paris, France, two sisters-in-law, Eugenia Beck of Hollywood, FL, and Joan Chapman of Greenfield, IN, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
