L. C. Hall, 90, of Moulton, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2018.  Born in Hackleburg, Alabama on June 3, 1928, he was the son of the late Charlie B. Hall and Lillie (Scott) Hall of Hackleburg, Alabama.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Pearline Hall, his son, Dennis Doherty, his sisters, Alma Thornthwaite and Zelma Duncan, and his brothers, William and Benton Hall.

L. C. was a Navy veteran having served as an electrician at Camp Shangri-La (now Camp David), the presidential retreat in Hauvers, Maryland.

After service to his country, he returned to Alabama, then moved to Indiana where he worked for Indiana Light and Power until he retired.  He and his wife also operated a florist, dry cleaner and electrical company.

After retirement, he returned to Alabama, built his home in Moulton, Alabama and lived there until his death.

He was a member of the American Legion for 61 years and was also a Mason.

He is survived by his daughter Elaine Hall Richardson of Decatur, AL,  granddaughter, Theresa D. Doherty of Hagerstown, MD, daughter-in-law, Elaine C. Doherty of Hagerstown, MD, a special cousin, Charles “Troy” Hall of Moulton, Alabama and several cousins.
