Kurt Alan Prokupek, age 66, of Shelby, Nebraska passed away October 27, 2020 at his home.
Family will announce a time of remembrance for Kurt.
Kurt was born July 15, 1954 to James and Marcella (Hogel) Prokupek in Columbus, Nebraska. He attended school in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School. At an early age he began working at Prokupek Shoe and Repair with his family.
He began dating Angela Mikkelsen in 2002 and they were united in marriage in 2011. To this union two sons were born.
Survivors include his wife Angela of Shelby; two sons, James Prokupek and Andrew Prokupek both of Shelby; stepchildren Calvin Maslonka of Shelby and Cathrine Kula all of Shelby; one grandchild Aubree Maslonka of Shelby; brother Darryl (Linda) Prokupek of Columbus; sister Susan Seng of Lincoln; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother William ‘Bill’.
