Kumal David Riddick, 40 of Hamden passed away suddenly on July 20, 2011.  Born in New HavenMarch 20, 1971.  He was the son of Anita White Riddick of Hamden and Linwood Lee Riddick, New Haven.  Kumal attended the Hamden public school system, graduated from HamdenHigh School and StoneAcademy.  Kumal was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  He was most recently employed by H & R Block as an office manager.

Kumal was pre-deceased by his wife Catherina Kenney Riddick, his brother Philip Thomas Riddick, Sr., his maternal grandparents Edward T. White, Sr. “Buck” , Phyllis West White; his paternal grandparents Linwood Lee Riddick, Sr. and Lorraine Mullings Riddick, his aunt Linda White Epps and his father-in-law George Kenney. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers Joshua J. Riddick (Christie) and Randall J. Redd, Sr. and a sister Tracy Redd Edwards and mother-in-law Kim Kenney and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives, friends and Bro. Jordan Nadal.
