Krystal Michelle Payton, 31, of Moreland, GA passed away Tuesday, April 26th in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Krystal was born September 9th, 1984 in Newnan, GA to Kathy McEachern Payton and the late James Rodney Payton.
She is survived by her mother, Kathy Payton, Grandmothers Patricia McEachern and Jean Bridges (nee Payton), sister Jeniffer Witcher and her husband Dave Witcher, nieces Payton, Augusta, and Stella Witcher, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Sweetpea, as her Papa the late Franklin McEachern named her, was a kind and gentle spirit. A 2003 graduate of Northgate High School, Krystal worked for Delta Airlines originally as a customer service rep and later as a reservations agent in the group’s department.
