On December 23, 1977 Kris married Michael “Mike” Eighinger who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Paul and Janice Dienstberger of Ashland; her daughters, Nicole (Ben) Sponsler and Carly (Sean) Little all of Ashland; her grandchildren, Livia Sponsler, Brendan Sponsler, Elsie Sponsler, Aiden Baker, Sophie Little, Maddie Little and Collin Little; along with her companion, her dog Lola. Kris was preceded in death by her brother, Kyle Dienstberger.
