Kristina DeFreez, 10 year old daughter of Charles and Sandra (Byrum) DeFreez of Galien, Michigan, died Tuesday evening, September 2, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan with her mom, dad, sister, brothers, and friend, Barb, by her side.
Kristina was born May 30, 1998 in Berrien Center, Michigan. She attended Blossomland Learning Center in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Kristina enjoyed Disney movies and loved Vegi Tales, especially Madame Blueberry. She will be missed by her loving parents, Charles and Sandy; her sister, Katherine; brothers, Ronald and Richard; grandparents, Ronald and June Byrum of Buchanan, Michigan and Richard DeFreez of Galien; great grandmother, Estella Byrum of Kokomo, Indiana, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Barb Schuck of Sawyer, Michigan, a special friend to the DeFreez family and second mom to Kristina.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alene DeFreez in 1987.
