Kristin Lee Madsen
Our beloved mother, Kristin Lee Madsen, passed away on May 14, 2015 in Ogden, UT. She was born, May 22, 1970 in Ogden, UT to James Byron Madsen and Joyce L. Youngman Boyce. Kristin married Scott Burns, together they had two children, they later divorced.
She enjoyed learning and reading; she was currently attending Weber State University. Kristin was an active member of the LDS Church, where she loved serving with the children in the primary. She was amazing at writing and poetry. Kristin had the wonderful ability to see the best in people and recognized their potential, treating them as they could become, rather then what they thought they were. This ability made her loved by many and a stranger to few. She loved spending time with her two granddaughters, who loving referred to her as Mimi. We will miss her fun sense of humor and practical jokes along with her ability to make us laugh in all situations.
She is survived by her children Shaylee (Sean) Griffin and Kaiman Burns; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents; siblings, Michelle (Morris) Stewart and Cherese Madsen. She was preceded in death by her step father Vernon Boyce.
