K. (Knop) Machay, 42, of Frankfort, Illinois, (formerly of Atlantic) passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Palos Hospital, in Palos Heights, Illinois, after a long illness.
Kristie Kay Knop was born July 27, 1965, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Carol (Brillhart) Knop.
She attended elementary and high school in Atlantic, graduating in 1983. Kristie entered college that fall at Illinois Wesleyan, graduating in 1987.
