Kristen Louise Lee, 33, of Goshen, passed away on Friday morning, April 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kristen was born in Elkhart on June 25, 1983, to Roger Elswick and Anna (Gunnoe) Gwinn.
She married Steven J. Lee on Nov. 3, 2007, in Elkhart.
He survives along with their two daughters, Abby A. and Emersyn Rose Lee; mother and step-father, Anna and Jim Gwinn; two sisters, Kathy A. Vervynckt and Kim S. Elswick; her grandmother Nettie Gunnoe; and several loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles survive Kristen as well.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred Gunnoe and Jim and Laomia Young.
Kristen was the hardware department manager of the Goshen Lowe’s for five years.
She was a 2001 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. She loved to scrapbook.
Most important to her was her family, and activities with her daughters. They loved to go roller skating at Eby’s Pines, bake and go swimming together. Kristen was a loving wife, mother and daughter, she will be deeply missed.
