Kavalou, Klaudija
On December 25, 2014, Klaudija Kavalou went home to be with The Lord. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Ann and Zina; her brother Gregory Wasiljews and his wife Fetina; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon and sister, Valentina. Klaudija was born in Latvia, and had to leave with her family during WWII. She enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was an avid cook, and loved going out to eat and re-creating the food she enjoyed in restaurants. Klaudija learned to sew in France, and could work magic with her sewing machine. She loved soccer with a passion, and was a Baltimore Blast season ticket holder for decades. Klaudija loved Ocean City, Md.
