Klara I. Kaifos, “Omie” age 87, a resident of Severna Park for three years and previously of Pasadena, passed on December 20, 2016 after suffering from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was born on September 19, 1929, in Mannheim, Germany, to the late Helene and Karl Muller. After graduating from high school in Germany, she moved to America where she worked as a mixologist for 50 years. She was a member of St.
Along with her parents, Omie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years: Gus Kaifos; and her son Theodore B. Faatz.
She is survived by her two loving daughters: Rosemaria Richardson and her husband Ron, of Pasadena, and Helena Gue and her husband George, of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, including Bryan Gruzenski and his wife Amber, of Florida, and Justin Richardson and his wife Becky, of Baltimore; and four great grandchildren.
