Kip Evan Castor, 42, of Pendleton, passed away on March 18, 2021, at the St. Vincent Hospital – 86th Street Indianapolis, IN. He was born on January 12, 1979, in Tipton, and resided most of his life in Windfall and Pendleton.
Kip graduated from Tri-Central High School and Mid-America Mortuary School in Jeffersonville, IN. He was the Funeral Home Manager for Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory where he compassionately took care of numerous families in their time of need. He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge and Madison County Funeral Directors Association where he had served as Vice President. He was also an avid Colts and Phish fan.
Kip is survived by the love of his life, whom he married, on October 13, 2018, Carly Castor; parents, Walt and Cathy Castor; brothers, Troy (Megan) Castor and Tyler (Shari) Castor; nieces and nephews, Isaac, Peyton, Mallory, Josie, Zane, Destry, Kale, Lars, and Nash Castor; his cousin who was like a brother, Chad (Kristina) Castor; Kip’s Godson, Austin Castor; mother-in-law, Vicki Griesemer; sister-in-law, Ashlee (Brian) LaPaugh and their daughters, Brianna and Bailey LaPaugh; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Iris Castor and Bruce and Patty Johnson; and his beloved dogs, Max and Miles.
