Kinzey Vardaman Estess, Jr., 85, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away surrounded by his family at home in Watson, LA on Monday, August 15, 2016. Kinzey, also known as Buddy, K.V. and Kin was a native of Hattiesburg and Georgetown, MS. Kinzey served in the Army as a medic in the Korean War. After, he attended Co-Lin Jr. College and Mississippi State University, graduating from MSU in 1955 with a degree in Horticulture. Kinzey, along with his business partner, formed a company that manufactured specialized golf equipment which made a tremendous impact on golf courses not only in the United States, but all over the world. He retired in 2008 after selling the company to a leading global turf and landscape maintenance corporation. During the course of his business, he and his wife enjoyed making new friends while traveling the world.
