Mrs. Kimerly Diane Hixson, age 49, of Cottondale, passed away at her home on Monday, January 03, 2011. She was born on January 11, 1961 in Nashville, TN to the late Charles J. Smith and her mother Jane Sawyer. Mrs. Hixson was of the Baptist faith and had lived in Cottondale for the past sixteen years. She was loved by her family and was a friend to many. Some of her true loves were chocolate and her cowboy boots. Mrs. Hixson was preceded in death by her father; Charles J. Smith and her grandmother; Bernice Moore. She was survived by her mother; Jane Sawyer of Sneads, her husband; Jeff Hixson of Cottondale, two daughters; Kristi Neal and husband Brian of Sneads, Nikki Merritt of Marianna, two sisters; Denise Hixson and Becky Hardbower both of Marianna, five grandchildren; Austin Merritt, Logan Carter, Hunter Neal, Gage Neal and Rhett Neal, four nephews; Scott Hixson, Randal Hardbower, Stephen Hardbower and Daniel Hardbower.
