Kimberly Smith Langford, age 53, of Crockett, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, the 5th day of August 2020. She was born in Crockett, Texas, on the 23rd day of September 1966, to parents Lelon Carol Smith and Alma Sue Duren Smith.
Kimberly was a kindhearted person who loved her family immensely. When Kimberly was younger, she enjoyed going to rodeos and barrel racing. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Central Baptist Church, where she devoted a lot of her time working in the church nursery. Kimberly worked as a dental assistant at Dr. Garner’s office for over 26 years. She had great affection for animals, especially horses and dogs. Her warm personality and smiling face will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lelon Smith; grandparents, Will Ike and Verna Duren, Lelon and Addie Smith; father-in-law, Herb Loya; and brother-in-law, Keith Rhone.
Kimberly is survived by her husband of 23 years, Roy Langford; mother, Alma Sue Eskue and husband Jerry; mother-in-law, Birdie Loya; daughters, Alicia Walker and husband Eric and Stephanie Langford; son, Jared Thames Langford; sister, Tina Smith Rhone; brother, Richard Smith and wife Katrina; and two granddaughters, Alexis Walker and Abagail Walker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her dogs Dash, Susie, and Sadie.
