Kimberly Mainord Smith, 57, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away September 13, 2020 at home following a brief illness.
Kim was born June 15, 1963 in Anderson, the daughter of Tony and Sharon Mainord. She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1981 and from Indiana University with her Master’s degree in Social Work.
She was employed at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana as a Case Worker. She loved her job, Christmas, baking, movies, and reading. She was a lover of the arts and all God’s critters. She had a caring personality, beautiful eyes, and a wonderful smile. She will be so missed, and we want her remembered for her wonderful humor.
She is survived by her loving son, Jordan Smith; her parents; brother, Rob (Jennifer) Mainord, special nephew, Mitchell, special niece, Maci; several aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and her faithful furry companion, Payton.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Michelle; grandparents, Mitchell and Mary Mainord, Robert France, Marjorie Fields; aunt Fran and Aunt Ina.
