Kim was born on August 13, 1962 in Sioux City, IA to Marvin and Karen (Etler) Huffman. She graduated from high school in Sioux City. Kim was currently working at Bridges Bay Resort where she over saw the front desk operations for the water park.
Kim will be fondly remembered for her spontaneous park grill outs when ever the mood struck her. She loved the 4th of July and treasured her freedom. She loved to spend time with her family and no one came before or was more important than her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Amanda (Alex) Fuhrman of Milford and Brittany (Nathan) DeMuth of Milford; 3 grandchildren, Audrina, Amelia and Hudson; significant other Mike Pomeroy of Spirit Lake and 2 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
