Kimberly A. Shirey, 54, of Huntertown, passed away on September 8, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Grand Forks, ND, on August 17, 1967, to Stephan and Monica (Brautzsch) Shirey. She spent her formative years in Fort Wayne, graduating from Northrop High School in 1986. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from WGU in 2016.
For the last five years, she has worked as the accounting manager for Mahoney Foundries.
Kimberly was a DIY Queen. She enjoyed woodworking and especially making cups. She was also her dad’s personal IT girl.
Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Makayla (Zach Thomas) Shirey; her parents, Stephan and Monica Shirey; her sister, Amy (Matt) Green.
