Pablo – Kim M. Marquardt, 57, passed away peacefully at her home on June 8th.
A member of the CS&K Tribes she was born in St. Ignatius to Donald & Juanita (Bisson) Marquardt on May 25, 1955. The family lived locally before moving to West Yellowstone.
After graduation she married Larry Johnson and they moved to Reno, NV. However, as with many things in life things did not work out and they parted friends. She then returned to the Reservation eventually settling in Pablo.
Kim worked for Forestry and was learning and studying the use of native plants. She also enjoyed birds and birdwatching. A good aunt she enjoyed being around her nieces and kids and when she was younger she enjoyed fishing with her brother Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ted Marquardt; brother Don Collins; sister Cindy Collins and a niece Roslynn.
She leaves behind her sisters Jennifer (Richard) Evans of troy and Debra Mercurio of Dayton; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews
