Kim C. Kelley, 55, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday.
She is survived by her devoted husband Kenyon T. Kelley of Huntsville, her cherished children David E. Kelley of Jacksonville, FL and Jennifer L .Kelley of Huntsville, loving parents Bill and Sandra Craig of Mountain Home, AR.
Born in Great Lakes, Michigan on June 8, 1956, Kim and her family lived there and Costa Mesa, CA before settling down in Boynton Beach, Florida. Kim attended Forrest Park Elementary, Boynton Beach Junior H.S. and Atlantic High School. Kim worked at Grant’s on 15th Ave, across from the Publix where Ken worked.
Ken and Kim dated in high school and were married in 1973; the honeymoon was a 3 day trip in a U-Haul to USMC Cherry Point, NC, setting the stage for almost 37 years of “The Marriage Made in Heaven”. Blessed with children David and Jennifer, who have always made us proud.
Kim and Ken have lived a life most people search for and never find. For those who will understand Kim was “Mary Spence” trained, passing on her legacy of taking care of our Marines and families. The perfect wife, companion and partner in life, there is none other like her. Strong, passionate, independent, resourceful, ambitious, confident, loving, caring, inspirational and fun loving.
Highly competitive and absolutely loves smacking a golf ball further than most men would expect. As a mother to her children, none can compare.
Kim’s Glass was never “half full”, but always overflowing.
