Kianna Rae Mimms-EL was born on January 25, 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Mishauna Mimms and Yusuf Hotep-EL.
Kianna attended Crispus Attucks High School and anticipated graduating with the Class of 2021. She was also accepted to Ball State University and planned to attend in the Fall of 2021.
Kianna was a hard worker and was employed at several companies throughout the city.
Kianna was a gifted artist. She was also a sports enthusiast and loved basketball, volleyball, football, boxing and the regional spelling bee.
Kianna passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the age of 18 years. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Martha Mimms; maternal grandfather, Delbert Mimms, Sr.; fraternal grandmother, Doris Brown, and brother, Keyonte’ Tunstill-EL.
