Kevin “Wayne” Vinson, 58, of Starke and formerly of Palatka, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at his home following a brief illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka and had worked as a driver for several local concrete companies. Wayne was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and tinkering with classic cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. If you needed to talk, Kevin could always be found on his back porch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Myrtle Vinson, and brother, Kenneth Gregory Vinson.
He is survived by his children, Billy Vinson, Jeffery McLeod (Amanda), and Jordan Nicole McLeod, mother of his children, Judith Dillard, brothers, Chris and Scott Vinson, grandchildren, Samantha, Tristan, Georgia, Branson, Allyson, and Paisley as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
