Kevin Byrne, 65, of Anderson, passed away on August 25, 2018. He was born on November 9, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana. Kevin graduated from Anderson High School in 1971. He received a certificate in professional photography from Anderson Vocational School in 1974.

He had worked at Delco Remy and State of Indiana as a Correctional Officer. He was a huge sports fan and knew a lot of trivia. He was a die hard Colts and Dodgers fan. He collected items related to his Irish and native American heritage, was an avid reader, and adored dogs. He was known as a jokester, but was fiercely loyal.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Geneva Davis of Crystal River, FL; sister, Noreen (Rob) Hensley of Lebanon; nephew Bryan Byrne of Anderson, whom he helped raise, as well as nephews, Alex Hensley of Lebanon, Keith Young of Ty Ty, GA; nieces, Amy (Tim) Wright of Jacksonville, FL, Angela (Seth Winterbottom) Nicholas of Conroe, TX, Christy Theobald of Greenfield, Megan (Kevin Jason) Byrne of Brooklyn, NY, as well as several great- nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert G. Byrne; siblings, Brenda L. Byrne, Gregory A. Byrne, David N. Byrne; stepfather, Harold “Butch” Davis; niece, Angela Price, and nephew, Andy Hensley.
