Kevin was born to Peter and Violeta Pobjoy on the 2nd of May 1992 in Torrance, CA, younger brother to his sisters Chris, Mary and Valerie.
After graduating from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in 2010, Kevin enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served in the Reserves with the 3rd Civil Affairs Group based in Camp Pendleton, CA receiving an Honorable Discharge and the rank of Sergeant in 2019. During his time in the Reserves, Kevin attended the University of Southern California receiving a BA with Honors in Anthropology in 2017 and a Master of Visual Anthropology the following year in 2018.
Interning at the USC Shoah Foundation ignited Kevin’s passion for social justice and caring for others. After graduation he worked as a Behavioral Health Technician assisting students with learning disabilities.
