Kevin Michael BrownAge 70 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Sparrow Hospital.A Celebration of Life will be held 11am Saturday June 15, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service. Military honors to follow. Kevin will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery.Kevin was born May 7, 1949 in Detroit, the son of R.C. and Eileen (Ortstein) Brown.He graduated from Owosso High School and attended college in California and earned his LVN in Nursing. Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.Kevin loved to be involved in the community from Friends of the Shiawassee River to the local Veterans programs. He followed in his fathers footsteps in the medical field and he volunteered with a variety of organizations.He is survived by his brother Thomas (Cheri) Brown, two sisters Patricia (Raymond) Fromm and Jodie Good; ten nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents.Memorial contributions are suggested to local veteran groups.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
