He was born May 28, 1967 in Lafayette to Sandra K. (Buck) McClimans Schultz and the late Lewis McClimans.
He married Kimberly S. Coffey on July 22, 2000 in Brookston and she survives.
Kevin graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and worked as an electrician and a diesel mechanic, most recently for Waste Management and Ryder Trucking.
He was a member of American Legion post 492, Navy Club Ship 12 and the VFW post 1154 Auxiliary.
Surviving along with his wife, Kimberly and mother, Sandra (husband Dave) Schultz are four children, Sarah McClimans of Montana, Ashley McClimans and Josh McClimans (wife Kayla) both of Delphi and Cody Crouse of Frankfort; three sisters, Sandy Hancock of West Lafayette, Mary Ennis (husband CJ) of Lafayette and Kala Deitrick (husband Skip) of St Augustine, FL and a brother, Pat McClimans (wife Betsy) of Oregon. Also surviving are ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marla McClimans and two brothers, Terry and Tim McClimans.
