Kevin John Parks, 61, of Milford passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022 surrounded by family. Born on February 14, 1961 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Gerald and Marjorie (Quill) Parks.

Kevin attended Foran High School, in Milford CT, and was part of the class of 1979. He then spent 35 years working for the State Of Connecticut in many capacities before retiring in 2015 from the Department of Corrections, where he was a corrections officer at the Bridgeport Correctional Center. Kevin was a huge sports fan, making sure to catch every Mets and Giants game. He son Kyle remembers them going to almost every opening day for the New York Mets. He was known for being a social butterfly, making friends everywhere he went. He was very funny and he would always know what to do to make you laugh, especially when you needed it the most. When he was not fishing or bowling in his league, he spent his time at the dog park with his beloved dog, Bailey. Kevin also spent countless hours volunteering for the Special Olympics, as he truly had such a caring heart. His family will always remember the countless fun trips to Lake George every summer.

Kevin is survived by his children, Kaylee, Kristen, and Kyle Parks; his step-daughter, Heather Wysocki and her significant other, Sarah Brittingham; his grandchildren, Colin Wysocki, Jordan, Ryan, and Lena Rivera; the mother of his children, Terri Parks; his sister, Mary Lou Parks; several cousins, including David Hennessey and Maureen Boda; his best friend, Lenny Rivera; and his beloved dog, Bailey.
