He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Karen Birdsong of Decatur; his father, Marcus Willie of Huntsville; his grandmother who will always love him, Lille Birdsong and his grandfather, Robert Simer both of Decatur; four sisters, Jerika Birdsong, Kendra Birdsong both of Decatur, Jurney Willie and Kashya Lacy both of Huntsville; five brothers, Darrius Birdsong, Martavyous Birdsong, Jamall Birdsong all of Decatur, Marquez Willie and Jonathan Willie both of Huntsville; four aunts, Terri Birdsong (Mark) of Athens, Annette (David) Turner of Decatur, Latoya Gaiter of Town Creek, Michelle (Victor) Bynum of Huntsville; two nephews, Christian Birdsong, Dai’zon Birdsong; one niece De’lilah Birdsong of Decatur; two great-aunts, Mary Birdsong of Decatur and Florence McDonald of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
