On Tuesday, the 28th day of June 2022, Kevin DeWayne Looney, of Jacksonville, Texas, passed away and joined the angels in Heaven at the age of 27. He is now with the Lord, where his body is made whole, free from the Leukemia that he endured the last few years of his life. Kevin was born in Galveston, Texas, on the 22nd day of May 1995, to parents Kenneth Looney and Gina Brewer Looney.
Kevin was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed video games and watching wrestling on television. Kevin had a humorous personality which always made him a delight to be around. He was a Christian and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Frankston. Although he had health issues his entire life, he fought hard and always kept a good outlook on life.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gina Brewer Looney.
Kevin leaves behind his parents, Kenneth and Laura Looney; grandparents, Glenda and Paul Hinojosa; sisters, Arielle Looney and Makalya Kennedy; uncle and aunt, Kevin and Kim Looney; numerous cousins, other family members, and friends. Our hearts are broken but our faith is in the Lord, knowing one day we will all reunite again.
