Kevin Darrel Bodily
Kevin Darrel Bodily, our loving father, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly as a result of many illnesses, on January 26, 2014.
Kevin was born on April 29, 1968, to Darrel and Goldene Bodily. He was raised and educated in Roy. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and was proud to be an eagle scout.
After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and became a radiologist. He served for six years.
In 1991, he married Carol Austerman, they later divorced. Out of that union, they had a beautiful daughter, Alexandria. She was the love of his life, he adored her.
He worked at Wasatch Orthopedic for a few years as a radiologist. Kevin decided to change his career and became a research chef. He graduated with honors from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. He received his degree in Food Science and Nutrition. He worked in many states for various companies, researching and creating new food and recipes. He loved and was very good at his profession and what he created.
Kevin enjoyed many hobbies. He loved archery, scuba diving, fly fishing, playing the guitar, traveling, mountain biking, snow skiing and motor cycle riding.
Kevin is survived by his daughter Alex, Kodiak, AK; his mother Goldene, Roy; his 3 brothers: Conrad, West Haven, Andy (Stacy), St. George, Kiel (Angie) Roy; his sister, Jennifer (Ryan) Moody, Ogden; 11 loved nieces and nephews; many cousins, aunts, uncles and other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrel; Grandparents John & Ethel Bodily, Golden & Cora Bingham, and loved aunts and uncles.
