Kevin Scoop Provance, 65, of rural Ottawa, died peacefully on June 20, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family.
Kevin was born on September 27, 1950 in Streator, to Verlyn Scoop and Lois (Johnson) Provance. He was a graduate of Ottawa Township High School. Kevin married Patsy Sheridan on April 5, 1969 in Pontiac. He owned Provance Excavation. Kevin was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 960.
He is survived by his wife Patsy, 4 daughters, Michele Sarti, of LaSalle, Kelly Sibigtroth, of Ottawa, Tammi Larabee, of Grand Ridge, and Laura (Michael) Mathesius, of Earlville, 16 grandchildren, a brother, Dana Provance, of Ottawa, and a sister Denise Sorn, of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Sibigtroth, Paul Turner, Skyler Provance, Colson Larabee, Jordan Sarti, Michael Mathesius, Bill Wheeler, and Thomas James. Honorary Pallbearers will be BrayDen Larabee and Grayson Mathesius.
