Keta L. Roussel, 55, of O’Fallon, Ill., born February 11, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, died Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Cedar Ridge Health Care Center, Lebanon, Ill. Keta was employed by the O’Fallon Police Department for 24 years, working as a technical coordinator and administrative assistant. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Officers Wives Club, Call for Help and was a 2nd mom to many of Megan’s and Shasta’s friends. Keta was a true believer of God and faith.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Shasta Roussel, husband Joseph Roussel and maternal grandparents Mike & Cordelia Webb.
Keta is survived by her parents, Alvin & Margaret, nee Webb, Dorow of Tecumseh, Michigan, a daughter Megan & Jason Constable of Oceanside, CA., a brother Mike Dorow of Ann Arbor, Michigan, a sister, Janet Kendall of Benicia, CA., a granddaughter Madelyn Constable of Oceanside, CA., a grandson Alex Constable of Oceanside, CA., aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family Bonnie Schmitt of St. Jacob, Ill., and Deb Cataldo of O’Fallon, Ill., special friends, Mario Minjarez, Scott & Bobbie Battoe, Keith Townsend, Natalie Schmitz, Kerry Andrews, Bob & Becky Karras and many other dear and special friends.
