Kenneth Woodrow Peel, May 18, 1937 – September 4, 2011.

Kenneth Woodrow Peel, age 74, of Morgan’s Point Resort. Kenneth was born May 18, 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Robert H. and Ollie B. (Law) Peel. He graduated for Paoli High School in 1955. He entered the U. S. Army in 1960, serving in Vietnam in the Medical Corp. He retired as a Sergeant Major in 1982. He married Patricia Frazier November 26, 1969.

He was a member of the Morgan’s Point VFW where he served as Chaplain, Belton Masonic Lodge, Fort Hood Sojourners #208 and First United Methodist Church of Belton. He attended the American Technological University where he received Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science and Masters of Criminal Justice degrees. He volunteered for Bell County Museum and Meals On Wheels. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother, Robert David Peel.

Survivors include a sister, Joyce J. Hooten of Moore, Oklahoma, 3 nieces US Army MSGT Retired Lisa A. Rush and husband Harold of Geronimo, OK, Catherine M. Perkins and husband Jeff of Pauls Valley, OK, Connie J. Henton of Luther, OK, 3 nephews, US Army SSGT retired David W. Peel, of Starkville, Mississippi, Christopher Peel and wife Brandy of Flower Mound and Robert L. Hooten and wife Lori of Moore, OK as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
