Kenneth Wayne Endicott, age 76, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Cancer Treatment Center in Newnan surrounded by family. He was born July 10, 1940 in Joplin Missouri to the late Pearl Endicott and Virgil Endicott.

Kenneth was a graduate of DeVry Technical College in Chicago Illinois and Lockyear’s Business college in Evansville Indiana. He spent most of his life working in the construction industry as a drywall contractor and later was able to own his own business.

Kenneth’s true passion was classic cars. He was an avid collector and enjoyed taking the time to create and customize what was old into something new and beautiful. He was a member of the Georgia Outsiders Car Club.

From 1967 through 1971 Kenneth raced go karts in northern Illinois and Wisconsin. After moving to Georgia, he and his son Steven raced together and Kenneth’s grandson Ethan has followed in his footsteps with continuing to race making it the third generation of Endicott’s racing. Before cars and racing Kenneth answered the call of his country and served in the United States Army. He was also a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Newnan.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Mary Ann Gates Endicott; children, Kerri Ann Endicott Curlee and her husband Danny Ray Curlee, Steven Lee Endicott and his wife Ruthi Schroeder Endicott; grandchildren, Drew Duffey, Gatlin Curlee, Danielle Curlee, Ethan Endicott, Elaine Endicott and sister Connie Jo Endicott.
