On Friday, August 19, 2022, Kenneth Wayne Cummings, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 72.
Ken was born on September 22, 1949, in Key West, FL to Frank and Verna Lewis. In 1967, Ken joined the United States Coast Guard. August 18, 1971, he was honorably discharged. It was not too long after this that Ken accepted Jesus Christ, as his Lord and Savior. For many years he served as a missionary in Honduras, Mexico, where he ran a shelter for homeless boys.
On July 3, 1976, he married Rose Arguelles. They raised three daughters, Heather, Heidi, and Holly.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, Frank, and his mother, Val. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; his children, Heather Cummings, Heidi, and her husband, Doug Dudley, Holly Cummings, Lisa, and her husband, Greg Poulter; his grandchildren, Travis Madron, Cody Cummings, Maria Dudley, Adrian Poulter, and Asa Kenneth-Cummings Garcia; and his great-grandson, Laiden Madron; his siblings, Linda, and her husband, George Greene, David, and his wife, Tracie Cummings, Paul, and his wife, Donna Cummings, and several nieces and nephews.
