Kenneth Walter “Kenny” Scott, 83, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at his house on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Kenny was born on February 8, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Walter J. and Rilla (Fleener) Scott. Kenny was a driver for Moon Trucking and Schneider Trucking, where he retired.
Kenny was a member of the Belmont Church of Christ. He enjoyed old cars, tractors, motorcycles, fishing, farming, playing euchre, animals, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Kenny is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Patricia (Deckard) Tarter Scott, children, Michael Tarter (Sandy) of Bloomington, Randall Tarter (Paula) of Bloomington, Teresa Smoot (Larry) of French Lick and Daniel Scott (Beverly) of Bloomington, children he raised, Pamela Sego (John), Dennis Sego, Mark Sego, and Tim Deckard, grandchildren, Joe, Melanie, Gena, Randy Jr., Nicole, Ruby, Levi, Gavin, Billy Jo, Amber, Danielle, Jessica, and Amanda, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, George Scott.
