Kenneth W. “Kenny” Ritchie, 89, Middletown, died January 20, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1919 in Middletown, Indiana, and resided in Middletown all of his life. He and his wife were farmers in Middletown up until his death.
Kenny was a member of the National Farmer’s Organization, Middletown Conservation Club and served on the Fall Creek Township Advisory Board. He loved to fish and was devoted to his family.
He is survived by his wife whom he married June 7, 1942, Nadean McDonnell Ritchie; sons, Ken & wife Connie Ritchie of Bloomington and Alan & wife Bonnie Ritchie of Middletown; grandchildren, Amanda Ritchie, Carrie Ritchie both of Indianapolis, Erin & husband Brian Shelton of Knightstown, Jason Ritchie and Clint Ritchie both of Middletown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. & Opal E. Zirkle Ritchie.
