Kenneth “Tony” Hitt, 72, of Moberly, MO, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born August 30, 1943, in St. Louis, MO to the late Lowell L. and Ruby E. (Benton) Hitt.
Prior to retirement, Tony was the manager of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company Store in Moberly. He married Carolyn Funk on April 4, 1964, in Moberly and she survives in the home.
Also, surviving are his children, Anthony W. Hitt and his husband Shawn Scott of New York, NY, and Kelly Patrick and her husband Kevin of Cairo, MO, three grandsons, Adam and Kyle Patrick both of Columbia, and Tyler Patrick and his wife Halli of Huntsville, MO, two great-grandchildren, Conner and Carter Patrick, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Bogle of Drakesville, IA, a foster daughter Dee Calvert and her husband Danny, two foster grandchildren, Daphne and Drew Calvert all of Moberly, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
