Ken was called home to be with God on Thursday, April 9th, 2020. He was born on July 19th, 1935, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to his parents Jacob and Arla (Porter) Stephenson. Ken graduated from Vicksburg High School. He joined the U.S. Army and served as a Private First Class.
Ken worked at Keene Corporation for thirty-two years in the tunnels making insulation. After leaving Keene Corporation, he started selling real estate. Ken loved to laugh and joke around with his family and friends. Ken started singing and soon became known as “Dr. Pepper”. He was also a lifetime member of the Kalamazoo Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Ken leaves behind his wife, Nancyanne; his children, Orvil Stephenson and Nancy (Mark) Clemmens; his grandchildren, Christina (Scott) Rogers and Trina (Joe) Stephenson; a very special friend, Mary Stephenson; a niece, Maralita (Allen) Thomas; a nephew, Peter (Nancy) Stephenson; and many more. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Harold Stephenson and his niece, Dianne Stephenson.
