Kenneth Russell was born on May 24, 1948 at Grangeville, Idaho. He was reared and educated in Emmett. He worked in the orchards while growing up in Emmett. He married Jessie Grubbs on Jan. 25, 1986 at Hermiston, Oregon. In 1987 they moved to Emmett, where they have since resided. Kenneth started a mechanic and scraping business with this brother-in-law Kenny Canaday. He was medically retired in 1991. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed prospecting for gold for many years. Kenneth had a rocky childhood and was a little rough around the edges, until he gave his life to the Lord in 1986. He was evidence of a changed life after giving his life to Jesus. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Williams, a sister Kathryn Canaday, brother Ed Grubbs, infant brother Jerry Grubbs and his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife Jessie, 8 children Kenny Harrison, Barbara Montgomery, Betty McGraw, Brian Russell, Michael Armistead, Donna Grubbs, Nancy Ayllon, and Brian Grubbs; 3 step children; 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Randy Williams and Don Grubbs and 2 sisters Nancy Meadowbrook and Bonnie Jenkins.
