Kenneth Richard Baker, 97 of Tonica, died in his home at 8:36 am November 13,2014.
Mr Baker was born in Peru on July 9,1917 to Richard and Josephine(Kaiser)Baker. He married Dorothy Hiester on June 10,1944 in Fort Smith,Arkansas and were married 54 years.
Mr Baker worked for Matt Wiesbrock of Lostant as a home decorater, Libby Owens Glass Factory in Ottawa and Wickes Lumberyard in Lostant.
He is survived by one daughter, Karla(Dick)Seaborn of Johnsburg; one son in law Mick(Ruby)Hebel; grandchildren, Lynn(Ken)Corniello, Chad(Diane)Hebel, Tricia(Scott)Eichler and Ryan(Jessica)Deany; great grandchildren, Lexi and Trevor Eichler and step great grandchildren Chelsea Phelps and Lexi Corniello.
Thru the love and devotion and of his caregivers Dale, Violet, Debbie , Sheryl and Vitas Hospice, Ken was able to live in his home in Tonica until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in December of 1998, one daughter Janet Hebel in 1990 and one sister Marjorie Baker.
