Kenneth Ray Lynch, Sr., August 8, 1934 – September 22, 2014.
Kenneth R. Lynch, Sr. 80, of Moody. Mr. Lynch died Monday, September 22, 2014 in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Lynch was born August 8, 1934 in Moody, the son of Dewey and Flora (Isom) Lynch. He married Mildred Schmidt of Austin on September 12, 1959 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Austin. He worked for the City of Austin for two years before working with DPS for 22years.
He moved back to Moody in 1978 and worked for Scott and White for 171/2 years as Purchasing Manager for most of that time. He retired in 1996 and worked for Perry Office Supply until his wife retired in 2000. Kenneth loved to work in his yard and his woodwork shop. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dewey Lynch.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Lynch of Moody; one son Kenneth R. Lynch, Jr. and wife Teresa of Moody; one sister Ruth Miller of Austin and one granddaughter Bethany whom he loved very much from day one.
