Kenneth R. Wooters, 73 of Sandoval, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his home.
Kenny was born May 22, 1940 in Glenridge, son of Charles Wooters and Versie (Foster) Wooters. He married Alice La Donne Wooters on January 17, 1962 in Mt. Vernon.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is also survived by two sons: Charles “Chuck” Wooters and fiancé Kim Wooters of Sandoval and James “Jimmy” Wooters and wife Christy of Walnut Hill; a daughter Vicki Wooters of Centralia; four grandchildren: Kyle Wooters, Zachary Wooters, Jacob Wooters and Emily Wooters; Dylan Shahan, Larry Alli III, and Levi Alli; four great-grandchildren: Carson Wooters, Holden Wooters, Isaac Wooters and Bailey Wooters; three brothers: Earl Wooters, Donald Wooters and Marion Hoskey; three sisters: Mary Moulton, Pearl Webb and Pauline Stull.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie Wooters and Gene Hoskey; and a sister Fern Evans.
Kenny served in the U.S. Navy. Kenny enjoyed the outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
