Kenneth Robert Jean “Kenny”, 65, of Bloomington, passed away at his home as he continued to enjoy his family while battling complications from his cardiac challenges.

Kenny was born January 21, 1950 in Bloomington to the late Robert Jean and Opal Jean. Kenny was a 1968 graduate of Bloomington High School where he participated in several sports. Kenny-Bob received his love of sports early through activities at the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington, and was awarded a scholarship from the Boys and Girls Club to attend Indiana State University. He had a great love for all IU sports especially Basketball. Later in life he developed a love for Golf and was an avid player – having two ‘hole in ones’

Kenny worked for many years at RCA where he started in production and worked his way up to a senior dispatcher. More recently he worked as a driver for Loomis where Kenny ultimately retired.
Kenny’s biggest joy in life was his family. He was a great father and an excellent ‘papaw’. He loved his time with his grandchildren. And those who knew Kenny well will forever miss his famous “Fried Rice” almost as much as his ‘teasing’.

Survivors include his son Bobby Jean and Shana of Bloomington, two sisters; Brenda Mingee of Avon and Debbie Hickman of Bloomington, two grandchildren; Jaxsen Robert Jean and Josephine Brooke Jean of Bloomington, two step siblings and several nieces and nephews.
