Kenneth R. Casford, 95, of Freeport, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born February 20, 1911 he was the son of Joseph and Vivian (Voight) Casford. He married Florence Keehn July 3, 1937 in Freeport.
Kenneth worked for Kraft Foods, Woodmansee Plumbing, was a co owner of Moellenbrandt and Casford Garden Center for several years, and then worked with Tri-State Supply Co, and then Wagner Office Supply.
He was a member of Zion Church and their Fellowship Bible Class. He sang with the Kraft Choral Society.
Surviving is his wife, Florence of Freeport; two daughters, Carolee (Monty) Dietmeier of Freeport and Bonita (Terry) Sueltman of Driftwood, Texas; one son, Larry (Jan) Casford of Clovis, California; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
