He was a resident of Pasadena, Maryland until 1972 before moving to Maryland’s Eastern Shore where he lived until returning to Pasadena in May 2009. Mr. Phelps had been employed as a foreman at the Curtis Bay Coast Guard Yard for 32 years. He was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing, crabbing and growing vegetables.
